Where is Little Vumbura: Little Vumbura is located in the Kwedi Concession in the Okavango Delta.  It is a true Delta Camp as it is on an island and is only accessible via boat.  The birdlife here is excellent and so is the diverse selection wildlife.  With a strong focus on water-based activities such as boating, “mekoro” and fishing the calming effect of the pristine water environment is ever present.  Game drives and guided walks are done from a point across the channel into a wildlife rich delta area.  Little Vumbura is a small and intimate and is highly sort after amongst birders and those wanting a true Okavango Delta experience.

Accommodation: 6 beautiful tented rooms with stunning views, one of which is a family rooms. The main area has very comfortable lounges and reading areas as well as a pool and curio shop.  Dining is done overlooking the reed banks and channel.

Activities: Boat cruises, “mekoro” (traditional canoe), fishing, guided walks, game drives, night drives, hot air ballooning (seasonal and weather permitting- mid-April to end August, as well as mid-April to mid-September)
