What is the Rovos Rail: The Rovos Rail has international acclaim as one of the world’s best train experiences. We 100% agree, an exceptional experience no matter which journey you decide to embark on.  Combine some of Africa’s most breathtaking scenery whilst travelling aboard an authentically refurbished Edwardian-style train.  The train has 36 cabins and can accommodate up to 72 guests.  Spacious by train standard, each cabin has its own bathroom and ever changing views.  There are eight scheduled journeys that begin or end at Rovos Rail Station in Pretoria.  One of the most popular routes in Cape Town to Pretoria, a fabulous option to travel South Africa.

Cabin Types: There are 3 types of cabins aboard the Rovos Rail.  Royal suites which take up half a carriage on their own.  Deluxe suites and Pullman suites.  Each cabin has are different in size, have different bedding configurations and an en-suite bathroom.
